In the kitchen…

Two 13 kg propane bottles are available for your use. Outdoor lighting is of course provided for those long summer evenings…

Internet

At La Cana you have fibre internet access via Wi-Fi throughout the house. The access code is displayed inside the living-room cupboard. A table for working faces the sea, and a Wi-Fi printer is available in the bedroom cupboard…

Linen and housekeeping

When you arrive, all the beds will be freshly made and towels will be provided in the bedrooms. For your own laundry, the house is of course equipped with a washing machine in the utility room (washing products included), as well as an ironing board and iron, and a vacuum cleaner in the living-room cupboard. Large tablecloths for the two big tables and kitchen towels are also available.

Leisure and games

Do not arrive overloaded! We have provided plenty of games for children and adults.

Outside and on the beach:
Pétanque, darts, table tennis with bats and balls, Mölkky, nets for catching prawns, wetsuits, shoes for the rocks…

Inside the house:
Playing cards, Scrabble, Monopoly, chess, Cluedo, backgammon, Mastermind, Trivial Pursuit…

Bedding and furniture

In the bedrooms…

The sleeping arrangements are as follows:

Bedroom 1, ground floor (main bedroom): queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm)
Bedroom 2, ground floor (garden side): two single beds (90 × 200 cm) by default, or one king-size bed (180 × 200 cm) if requested when booking
Bedroom 3 (mezzanine): two single beds (90 × 190 cm)

For a young child, a travel cot with a comfortable 120 × 60 cm mattress and fitted sheet is available. A high chair and baby bath are also available on request.

In the living room…

For meals there is a large table with benches and armchairs, so everyone can sit together in a relaxed atmosphere.
The lounge area, with its functional and efficient stove and lovely sea view, has a large sofa.
No television at La Cana — you have the sea!

In the garden:

A large table beside the plancha with chairs and benches for everyone, a set of loungers and benches, low tables, three benches, two sun loungers and one large parasol.

Heating

The Canadian house is very well insulated. Although the stove is more than powerful enough to heat the whole house quickly, quality electric heating is available all year round through thermostatically controlled radiators in every room except the mezzanine.

Wood-burning stove

In the middle of the living room stands a Stûv stove. This powerful wood burner will brighten up your winter evenings. It heats so well that you may sometimes have to open the windows! Dry firewood is available beneath the stove, with an unlimited supply stored in the woodshed at the entrance to the property…

If by some misfortune you run out, you only have to go looking for some in the woodland on the property!
