MSC BELLISSIMA — first sea trial

Wednesday 19 December 2018, by DAVID LAFORGE

We went out to meet the enormous MSC Bellissima as it headed to sea for its first trial. A sister ship to MSC MERAVIGLIA, this vessel built in Saint-Nazaire was in turn one of the largest cruise ships ordered by a European operator in 2019...

MSC Bellissima went to sea for the first time. Escorted by tugboats, it left its dock with more than 450 people on board — employees of Chantiers de l’Atlantique and subcontractors — in order to carry out numerous tests.

At 315 metres long, MSC Bellissima can accommodate 5,700 passengers. Delivery: February 2019.
